“Mountain Lights” Returns to Hanazono Niseko in the Summer of 2025!
Niseko Hanazono Resort (hereinafter referred to as “Hanazono”), operated by Nihon Harmony Resorts KK (Headquarters: Kutchan, Abuta District; Representative: Naomi Tofukuji), is pleased to announce the return of the outdoor art installation Mountain Lights, which was previously held from July to October between 2022 and 2024. The event will once again illuminate Niseko in the summer of 2025.

The stage is set at Niseko Hanazono Resort, currently still blanketed in snow. As the warmth of spring embraces the area, we eagerly await the moment when the vibrant light particles of Mountain Lights will once again spread, welcoming everyone with their brilliant glow.
Mountain Lights is an immersive, large-scale light art installation that was held as a limited-time event from July to October between 2022 and 2024. Created by the world-renowned British artist Bruce Munro, this exhibition is exclusive to Niseko in Japan. Spanning 1.3 kilometers along the summer slopes of the Hanazono ski resort, the installation showcased breathtaking light art, offering visitors an emotional and deeply resonant experience. In 2024, two new works featuring vibrant colors and music were introduced, further enhancing the evolution of this art installation. This summer, we invite you to once again immerse yourself in the unparalleled experience that only Niseko can offer, where the natural beauty and light come together to create a truly unique and captivating journey.
